Index Page – 1 Column

Your home page is the most important page on your website, as it’s where all of your customers will start. EnterpriStore offers 4 different layout options for the home page, so you can set it up in a way that matches the amount of information you want to display. Your 4 setup options are: full page, left column and main area, right column and main area, or main area with left and right columns. These different options ensure that you can create a homepage that looks just the way you want it to.

The first option, full page, creates a single column main area that is 1024 pixels wide. This is the simplest layout available and is perfect if you want everything to be organized in a single line. It has a streamlined appearance that makes it extremely easy to navigate. Both of the 1 column options (left column and right column) have a main area that is 8—pixels wide and a column that is 224 pixels wide. This layout option is pictured below. The column layout is perfect for if you want to include more information, such as an index of product categories, along the side. It makes it easy for your customers to find more pages directly from your home page. The two column option creates two 224-pixel columns on either side with a 575-pixel main area. This is the ideal layout if you want to include a lot of information on your home page. You can include multiple menus to facilitate navigation all over your site. With these different options, you can include as much or as little information on your home page as you need, and shape your site navigation in a way that makes sense for your ecommerce site.
